I Choose Joy

There are no boundaries to joy

no limitations

no rules

no requirements. 

I don’t have to do this or that first before I can feel joy.

I can

just

be joyful.

The past cannot be changed.

It's done.

But…

I can change how I feel about it and how I perceive it now.

It doesn’t have to be 

bad

negative 

and scary. 

It just

was

what 

it 

WAS.

-past tense-

and it led me to here.

And..

HERE

IS

AMAZING!!!!

So maybe 

that can mean the path that led me here was amazing too. 

why not?

-I’m creating my own reality anyways, right?

Why not turn the darkness into glitter, all sparkly.

It doesn’t change or erase anything. 

It just allows it to weigh less here, 

in THIS moment.

Dark and light. 

Good and bad.
